MENTAL HEALTH
Meryl R. Bond, LPC
BACKGROUND
I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I earned my Master of Education in Counseling from the University of North Texas and hold a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hartford. My clinical training includes internships at Denton County Friends of the Family and Cancer Care Services in Fort Worth. I am also a proud member of the American Psychosocial Oncology Society (APOS).

I have experience across a range of clinical settings, including psychiatric hospitals, community-based programs, nonprofit outreach, and insurance case management. My clinical special interests and training include working with older adults, individuals affected by cancer, and challenges impacting women and LGBTQIA+ individuals.

I offer virtual therapy to adults across Texas, making high-quality care more accessible and convenient. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, so I take an integrative, personalized approach tailored to your goals and experiences. My work draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, and narrative therapy. I am also a proud member of the American Psychosocial Oncology Society (APOS).

Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my family and pets, hiking, photography, baking, and finding new creative outlets.
